I stopped by on a weekday morning, and they surprisingly had a lot of people dining in. They do have a pretty quick turn around for their tables, which is good because they had a constant stream of new diners. The waitstaff were also polite and provided pretty solid dining service. There was only a small hiccup at first when I had to wait longer than I thought I would before someone would hand me menus to choose what I wanted to order. Once I had a menu, it didn't take long to place my order and for it to come out from the kitchen. The restaurant has a tranquil and laid back atmosphere. The decorations also matched this type of vibe with the high ceilings, plant wall decor and wood wall accents! It's very modern without feeling too industrial. I ordered a reuben sandwich with the fries (because if there's rueben on the menu, I'm getting it! lol). It was pretty good. The sandwich had pretty good proportions of corned beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese. The rye bread was a tad too big though, and I felt like it wasn't toasted enough. It was still good, but I wished they toasted the bread a little bit more. The fries were crunchy, which was how I liked them! Overall, a really good dining experience. I would definitely come back again to maybe try a different dish on their menu.

I decided to visit Holder's with my partner on a weekend evening. We parked in the retail parking lot next door. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that you can enter Holder's from the retail parking; they have a back door connected to the retail parking lot. Upon entering through the back door, I was greeted by a lush green wall adorned with real plants! It was a nice aesthetic that seems to require a lot of maintenance! I opted for a simple breakfast of chicken apple sausages, eggs, hashbrowns, and pancakes. The chicken apple sausages had a good balance of sweet and savory as usual. The pancakes were soft and fluffy. I always enjoy the texture of their pancakes. However, I was a bit surprised by the hashbrowns--they weren't as crispy as last time. Although they were cooked thoroughly, I wasn't expecting them to lack crispness. During my last visit, both my partner and I had crispy hashbrowns, but this time, his were crispy and mine weren't. It felt like there was a bit of inconsistency with the hashbrowns. I still enjoyed my meal overall, and the eggs were cooked to perfection! Additionally, I learned that they do not offer pure maple syrup here. Although it's not a deal-breaker, it would've been a nice touch, especially since there are other breakfast spots that do. Overall, I enjoyed my time here. It's a solid breakfast place.

Brunch anyone? This is normally a breakfast stop for me, but today I wanted something different, flipped the menu over and I was intrigued. Sandwiches were calling my name when everyone else wanted breakfast food. I decided to do the BLT because bacon :) The sourdough was toasted perfectly and the bacon, lettuce and tomato with mayo hit just right. A few more pieces of bacon would have made this 10/10. I'll give it an 8/10 this time, but still very good and satisfying. Everyone's food came out quickly and the big table went silent. The portions are very good size and everything was hot and fresh. Holders is always an easy decision and hits a spot for everyone.

I always passed by this place when driving to Main St cupertino but I had no idea this restaurant had a huge interior and a lot of customers. I came for my first time on a whim and luckily there was no wait for 2 on a Saturday morning around 10:30am. I noticed people started waiting in line towards the end of our meal. The interiors is nice and modern. I like the rear plant wall and the option to sit at booths. As for the food, my partner and I shared the ribeye steak and eggs (medium rare and over medium, with pancakes) and breakfast burrito. The burrito had a lot of soft ingredients like beans; it was good but not my style so I might not order it here again. The chorizo in it was more like cut sausages. The hashbrowns were nice and crispy. The MVP of the meal was the ribeye steak. It was a good thickness to it and it was juicy. I would highly recommend it and it's not too expensive for the amount of food. The 2nd best thing was the pancakes -- fluffy and kind of tastes like cake. The 2 dishes was more than enough food for 2 people; we had a whole box of leftovers. I give it a 5/5 because of the bang for buck and I enjoyed my experience overall. I would definitely come back and I would get toast instead of pancakes to eat with the eggs. I'm also curious about their other dishes like the waffles and maybe their mimosas.

Been going to Holder's Country Inn for decades. And never was disappointed and still holds true today ! Only, exception would be missing the old location's restaurant and the 60's circa charm. Though the new location does its best, the circular vinyl booths and vinyl stools on the table facing the kitchen is hard to replace. Brings me back to my childhood and sad a fire took all this away. Service is friendly and amazing. Every Server does their best to make sure your cup of coffee is always filled :) . Food always comes out delicious and if good old fashion American breakfast is your comfort food, then you won't be disappointed. Best hash browns and pancakes in my opinion !!! Parking is much better than the previous location. I suggest you park in the back parking area and come in the back door entrance. I also suggest you prepare to wait a little if you plan to coming on a Sunday.

Country Inn used to be on De Anza Blvd as an affordable breakfast diner selling big portions for cheap. I haven't been since I was a child, but they've really gentrified everything with a brand new space and I feel like the dishes have been spruced up. Really good: Berries & Cream French Toast - I'm not usually a sweet breakfast kind of guy, but their options look really good and I was eyeing all the other tables get their food. This one comes out real fresh and has a lovely crust of egg on each side of the toast. The toppings are fresh berries and whip. Pretty simple but very delicious! Underwhelming: Corned beef hash - ordered this as a side to have a savory accompaniment to my French toast. It has a really mealy texture, I think the beef is ground(???) and no crispy crust develops on what seems like a half moon pressed patty of beef and potato cubes. I wouldn't order this again. Service was quick and professional. Overall, I think a great majority of the menu is probably very solid and I ordered one thing that they don't quite have right. I look forward to returning to try other items!

Holder's is one of our favorite local restaurants so I wanted to finally give them a review. This is for their new location (also called Cupertino Country Inn) across from the old Vallco mall. As some of you may recall, their original location on DeAnza Blvd across from Home Depot sadly burned down a couple of years ago, but we were happy they decided to relocate! Many patrons only think of Holder's as a great breakfast/brunch spot. And that is certainly true! Portions are large, and the restaurant itself is very spacious and clean. But this review is for their dinner offerings! We decided to enjoy a rare weekday dinner out on a Thursday night. The place was not crowded at all and we were seated right away. Service was pleasant and efficient and our food arrived quickly. Be sure to check out their daily specials (on their website at https://www.cupertinocountryinn.com)! Portions were large - we all had to get to-go boxes! Which makes each order suitable for two meals - hooray for leftovers! Tonight we ordered the Chicken Alfredo from their regular menu, and the Sirloin Tip Noodles and the Greek Chicken from their daily specials. Everything was yummy (except one piece of feedback - the Greek chicken was a tad too salty but not unbearable)! We are happy to have Holder's in our neighborhood, and look forward to trying their other menu selections!
